Versatile, collaborative, solutions driven architect with two decades of expertise across a wide variety of project types at various scales. An emphatic leader and collaborator effectively leading teams through the life of a project from inception through to successful completion - on schedule/within budget - demonstrating a commitment to creating a team environment where every voice and perspective is heard.

I have worked for architectural firms from a small local firm, Bond Street Architecture & Design, to the large international firm of Perkins Eastman Architects to working for an Owner as staff architect. While working within architectural firms I invariably developed effective working relationships with clients during both design development and construction phases of projects. This fueled my interest in pivoting to work for an Owner with Central Park Conservancy.

During my years tenure at CPC, I established a small but efficient architectural studio within the Planning, Design and Construction Department to complement the existing architectural landscape studio. This allowed us to work on a range of projects from start to finish including the Restoration of Belvedere Castle, Merchants Gate Comfort Station, Naumburg Bandshell, Dairy Visitor Center.

In this role I wore many hats, including Project Architect, Project Manager, Construction Manager, Owner’s Representative, among others. Responsibilities included observing, analyzing, and documenting existing building conditions; developing scope of work required to align with addressing said conditions, use, historical context, and budget. Selected consultants for each of required disciplines. Lead these teams in translating the scope into bid documents; obtained all required agency approvals; provided updates to Executive Leadership Team; Donors; End-Users; internal organizational departments.

Notably Belvedere Castle received a Lucy G Moses Preservation Award in 2020 recognizing our work as Owner and Architect in preserving a NYC jewel.

Concurrently, while overseeing and managing the in-house design led projects I also initiated and oversaw an organization wide space planning process executed by an outside architectural firm.

In addition to a BArch from University College Dublin, Ireland, I also received a Bachelor of Architectural Science (BSc). I am a registered architect in New York State since 2009 and a member of the American Institute of Architects since 2011.
