    Documented existing conditions on site using photography and sketches. Developed construction documents for a complete stabilization of existing roof and restoration of building envelope under the direction of Engineer of Record. Daily onsite oversight of progress of work for adherence to design documents and associated shop drawing approvals, coordination with Owners Representative as required when work impacted occupied building, ensuring testing agency inspections and signoffs. Review of mock-ups and coordination for approval by team. Punchlists, substantial completion sign offs.

    Team leader in development of design concepts through design development in direct coordination with client and end users. As part of the team developed construction documents and specifications, in coordination with consultants and client, ensuring adherence to building codes and making all required filings to Building Departments and Town Boards. For projects in construction, responsible for review of submittals, RFI’s, unforeseen field conditions, mock-ups, periodic site visits. General oversight of adherence to design documents; review and approval of progress payments; progress updates to Owner. Working on all phases of projects facilitates lessons learned to be incorporated from project to project – closing the loop.

  • Central Park Conservancy

    2015-2022

    Established a small but efficient architectural studio to complement the existing architectural landscape studio. In this role I wore many hats, including Project Architect, Project Manager, Construction Manager, Owner’s Representative, among others. Responsibilities including forming and leading Design Teams, composed of in-house staff and consultants in translating the defined scope into bid documents; obtaining all required agency approvals; providing updates to Executive Leadership Team; Donors; End-Users. My role included strategic site presence and oversight for adherence to contract documents and construction schedule. Enthusiastically lead onsite progress tours for relevant stakeholders to include, Donors, ELT, SLT, CPC Board Members, various CPC Departments, End-Users. Most importantly, mentoring junior staff to help them excel and grow in their roles within the respective Team and advocating for their development and growth within the organization.
