Behind the Park: Restoring Central Park’s Historic Dairy
Speaking here with colleagues on the history of the Dairy, located in the Children’s District, and the latest restoration. Original to the Park and built in 1871 as a place for children and caregivers to get milk, games, and offer shade in the loggia, the Dairy now serves as Central Park's main visitor center.
